Add a Financials section that aggregates all gear-related expenses by financial year, with the ability to export or download this data (CSV/PDF) for sending to an accountant, and optionally sync with accounting platforms like Xero and QuickBooks. Include the ability to upload receipt photos, auto-extract key fields such as Item, Cost, Type, and Quantity using OCR, and optionally create or match items directly into the user’s gear list from the recognized data.

Darren Thornbury for the manufacturer filling in the details, knowing how i can be lazy, could you have a button "request verified specs from manufacturer" button as required? IE, I don't advertise my current draws, but IF somebody emailed me then for sure I'd have to look it up or take a new measurement and get back to them. I'd feel bad leaving them hanging since it's a personal request. I'm less likely to build something and then fill it out.

Harbour Driv3 Band

Basically a page dedicated to just social feeds from users, band pages, businesses etc. Similar structure to most social media but only music and music industry related. Have ads embedded but again only advertising that is music industry related. Share posts, photos, videos, YouTube clips and even LIVESTREAM. Businesses in the directory can advertise their products and deals.

Social Feed

Basically an area when the owner can add details about the history with the instrument. For example: I own a J&amp;D Luthiers SG that I bought when I was 16 and have owned it ever since. It was used a lot when I first started learning heavier guitar parts. It was my first electric guitar. It has a unique tone and I always come up with something interesting with it. The only modifications it has had was the bridge pickup. The bridge pickup sounded weak compared to the neck pickup so I bought a pickup from a guy on eBay. He said it was from a Flying V from the 70s. It was definitely hotter sounding than the stock pickup from J&amp;D. Gave it an edge. Adding stories like this to the instrument are a way of capturing the narrative or journey of the instrument. Can add intrinsic value to the instrument and can also show a history of musicians that owned it and played it.

When adding a new instrument, let users either take or upload photos of the brand logo and serial number (for example, front and back of a guitar headstock) and use image/OCR analysis to detect the Brand, Model, and Serial Number, then auto-fill the instrument details. Also support manual entry of brand and serial number that still triggers the same manufacturer lookup and autofill so users can choose between image analysis automation, manual entry with manufacturer autofill, or full manual entry.

A clear spray on coating that has a unique code that is repeated a million times. The idea is that even if the coating is worn off in different areas, the code can still be retrieved if there is 1% of it. The code is registered to the manufacturer. Those details would be stored in a cloud based service provided by Sonority. The codes would be tied to that service. The purpose of this unique coating is so that if the instrument was ever stolen or lost, the code could be scanned and then the specific details of the instrument be shown. It can also be used as a trigger point when scanned to update status or location of the instrument.

Events should link directly to instruments in the inventory, so tapping an event opens the relevant gear record. The calendar should support month, week, and agenda list views, and allow manual event creation alongside events auto-populated by other Sonority features (Tour Prep, maintenance logs, repair bookings).Who does it help: All tiers — bedroom players who need maintenance reminders (GARAGE) through to touring professionals managing multi-city schedules and instrument logistics (TOUR). Roadies and techs with shared access benefit especially from a synced team calendar view.Current workaround: Users manually track gigs, maintenance intervals, and repair appointments in Apple or Google Calendar with zero connection to instrument data. Users with Beta access can see new features in development on a dedicated page that they can like and comment on. This will allow for great collaboration and real user feedback before the features are released to the public.
